Motorola’s XT420 was tested in Motorola’s Accelerated Life Testing (ALT), which stimulates up to 5 years of field use. It withstood steady rainfall and wind for 30 minutes on every surface, 9 hours of exposure to vibrations, 48 hours of exposure to salt fog, six hours of blowing dust, 18 shocks, and multiple hours of extreme temperatures as low as -55 degrees and as high as 70 degrees.
Interact Easily
Motorola’s XT420 has customised channel announcements, informing the user which channel they are on without the need to see which channel they are changing to. This allows the user to continue with their job, knowing which channel they have changed to, without removing the radio to look at the channel selection. Channel numbers can also be changed to names to fit the department you are in or wish to contact, ensuring the correct person/team has been contacted.

The XT420 delivers loud and clear audio output thanks to the built-in 1500mW loudspeaker with wind-noise reduction. The user can select between 8 channels and 219 privacy codes, ensuring the clearest signal. The twin pack allows both users to communicate effectively with each other as well as with your existing fleet of radios.
