Motorola SL1600 Digital Radio

The ergonomic design of the SL1600 radio has to be emphasised as it is ultra slim, only 22 mm thick. The SL1600 has curved edges with a rugged frame making it a very easy to carry radio. This radio design is called Range Max and it features patented antenna which delivers enhanced range while maintaining the slim radio profile and battery life. Very interesting technology applied in this radio are its LEDs behind the radio housing. It is so called Active View display and it is shatterproof and energy saving (it turns off when not in use). Motorola SL1600 is a rugged and durable radio. It is IP54 rated that makes it dust and splash proofed. It also underwent Motorola’s Accelerated Life test which simulates 5 years of hard use.
We would recommend this product mainly to the hospitality industry and shopping centres due to the size of this product. The SL1600 are very discreet and attractive radios and therefore we think that they are suitable for superyachts and private security.
