The Motorola DP4801 EX is an ATEX-certified professional licenced, digital two-way radio with a full display and keypad. The DP4801 EX is part of the MOTOTRBO DP4000 EX series and is used in environments where explosive gases, dust or chemical vapours are present; therefore, this radio was created with workers’ safety in mind. DP4801 EX users will experience Intelligent Audio and Transmit Interrupt features, mandown and GPS. It is a durable radio with an IP67 rating and has undergone rigorous testing through Motorola’s Accelerated Life Test, simulating 5 years of hard use.
