Make maintenance a priority for your two-way radio equipment. Inadequate use can result in radios being damaged, and in many situations, it is essential that two-way radios remain functional for critical communications. At Apex Radio Systems, we’d recommend the following tips to ensure the best use of your equipment:

1. Ensure that your radios are turned off when charging.
2. Don’t spray industrial cleaners directly on your radio. Clean your radios with a damp microfiber cloth. Do not submerge in water.
3. Don’t hold or pick up the radios by the antenna.
4. Only use compatible accessories with the device, for example, batteries and chargers.
5. Please ensure you are storing your Two-Way Radios in a cool, dry place and make sure the equipment is turned off and the batteries are removed.
