Make maintenance a priority for your equipment
Make maintenance a priority for your two-way radio equipment. Inadequate use can result in radios being damaged, and in many situations, it is essential that two-way radios remain functional for critical communications. At Apex Radio Systems, we’d recommend the following tips to ensure the best use of your equipment:
- Ensure that your radios are turned off when charging.
- Don’t spray industrial cleaners directly on your radio. Clean your radios with a damp microfiber cloth. Do not submerge in water.
- Don’t hold or pick up the radios by the antenna.
- Only use compatible accessories with the device, for example, batteries and chargers.
- Please ensure you are storing your Two-Way Radios in a cool, dry place and make sure the equipment is turned off and the batteries are removed.
