Product Features:
Mixed Digital and Analogue Operations
A great feature of the NX-3000 series is the mixed digital and analogue operation, which allows gradual migration at the user’s pace. The transition from analogue to digital allows for increased channel capacity, which is great for larger businesses.
Mandown
A safety feature implemented in the NX-3000 series is mandown. This feature is great for users who may be working in dangerous environments. The mandown feature detects when a radio has been laid down for a certain amount of time and sends an emergency alert. It may be the user who is lying down potentially injured, therefore this feature helps to keep employees safe.
7-Colour LED indicator
The user will find a colour-changing LED on the top of Kenwood’s NX-3000 radios. This can be coded to change colour as the user changes channel. This feature is important to the NX-3200E3 as it is the most basic form of the NX-3000 fleet. With no keypad or display, communication is limited. When in a loud environment, it may be hard to hear which channel the user is on; therefore, the user can see it instead.
Built in features
Kenwoods NX-3000 series has certain built-in features. Two of the most standout features are Bluetooth and GPS. Built-in Bluetooth allows for hands-free operation, and built-in GPS allows for effective fleet management. These features allow the user to operate the radio to the highest standard, increasing both productivity and communication.
