Emergency Button Function
The NX-1000 series has an emergency button located on the side of the radio. It’s hard to miss with its bright colour and easy access point. This is extremely useful when a user is in trouble or in an emergency and needs assistance immediately. It’s easy for the user to reach down and press this emergency button, alerting a manager that they need assistance. This helps to increase staff safety.
7-Colour LED indicator
Located at the top of the radio, the user will find a large LED indicator; this makes it easy for the user to navigate which channel they are on, even when in the loudest of environments. The LED can be coded to change colours depending on which channel they are on. This is most handy for the NX-1200DE3 as this model doesn’t have a display to inform the user which channel they’re on, therefore they can use the colours to help them.
Wide Variations
To meet various demands, Kenwoods NX-1000 range has both NXDN and DMR digital options available. DMR radios have superior features, enabling clearer voice and communication distance. NXDN is used in commercial, business, transport, and public safety radio systems. NXDN uses Frequency Division Multiple Access, and DMR uses Time Division Multiple Access for channel access methodologies.
