The Icom F29SR is the newest professional, analogue, licence free radio from Icom. This model comes with an IP 67 rating, which means the Icom F29 SR has the strongest available protection against dust and moisture within currently available licence-free radios. Taking into consideration the durability of F29SR we would recommend it mainly to smaller manufacturing and construction sites where drops, noise, dust and water are often present.

21 Hours Operation
The supplied Li-Ion battery pack, BP-279, provides up to 21 hours of operating time. The supplied rapid charger BC-213 charges the BP-279 in 2.5 hours.

16 useable channels
The IC-F29SR2 meets the European standard EN 300 296 and has total of 16 channels including new 8 channels*. * New 8 channels may be restricted, depending on countries.

 

Rotary Channel
Up to 32 operating channels and group code (16 channels × 2 zones) can be programmed to the 16-position rotary channel knob. The operating zone can be switched with the top red button.

Group Call
The user programmable CTCSS and DTCS codes can be used for group call. You will only send a call to specified group members using the same tone and same channel.

This radio is compatible with the F27 and can be used to upgrade your existing fleet. This radio is suitable for both entry-level and professional radio users. The Icom F29 radio is small and lightweight while still retaining its robustness. In fact, it is one of the most durable licence-free radios on the market. This model comes with an IP67 rating, which means the Icom F29 SR has the strongest available protection against dust and moisture within currently available licence-free radios. This radio also has a considerably large speaker, which makes it ideal for noisy environments. Additionally, this product offers private and group calling over 16 channels. Other features of this model include up to 21 hours of operating time, low battery alert, and rapid charger (which charges the battery in 2.5 hours). It is also a very good communication tool for hospitality as it is very small and waterproof, making it perfect for leisure centres and spas.
