From everyone at Apex Radio Systems, good luck to all those taking part in the Great North Run 2024, this year marks the 43^rd year taking place and will be a huge success no doubt.

Since 1981, the race has raised hundreds of millions of pounds for charities, helping thousands of amazing causes globally. With 60,000 participants a year travelling from every postcode in the UK to take part, it delivers £35,000,000 of positive economic impact to the North East, not to mention it creates an infectious energy across the entire city!

Our engineering manager, Craig, will participate on behalf of East Durham Veterans Trust. Craig left the military in 2023 after a 31-year career in the Royal Signals; after leaving, he realised how much veterans within society needed help. This charity helps veterans in the East Durham area who have fallen on hard times.
