Kenwood’s NX-3300E2 is a UHF (ultra-high frequency) radio with a partial keypad and a display. With built-in features such as Bluetooth, GPS, mandown and many more, it appears to be the perfect addition to every workplace that requires everyday communication.
Multi-protocol digital radio
Kenwood’s NX-3000 series is designed to operate under NXDN or DMR radios and FM analogue operations, enabling it to serve with distinction in a wide range of enterprise and operation-critical applications.
Kenwood’s Renowned Audio Quality
Kenwood’s audio quality is something they really pride themselves on. Their radios are used in the most gruelling of conditions, such as in the cockpit of a racing car, yet their audio is still loud and clear. This feature is essential to anyone working in a loud and potentially dangerous environment where clear and effective communication is needed most, increasing staff productivity and safety.
Large 7-Colour LED Indicator
Whilst Kenwood’s audio quality is superior, there may be situations where the user cannot hear; this is where the 7-Colour LED indicator comes in handy. This LED indicator can be coded to change colour as the user changes channels. The prime location at the top of the radio makes it easy for the user to quickly look down and see the colour; therefore, knowing which channel they are changing allows for faster communication between colleagues.
Keypad and Display
Another way that users can communicate is through the partial keypad and display. Text messages can be sent between employees, which may be helpful when the user can’t hear or speak on their radio. The display will not only show text messages but also which channel the user is on, the battery levels of the radios and much more.
Kenwood’s NX-3000 series has various radio types. The NX-3200E2 has a partial keypad and a display; the keypad includes a 4-way directional pad to make navigation around the radio easier for the user. The keypad and display allow the user to communicate in an extra way, especially if they are in a situation where they are unable to use the PTT (Push-To-Talk) button; text messaging may be more appropriate. Please note that this radio requires an Ofcom licence to operate. Please visit our licensing page for more information and an application form.
