Motorola’s XT460 underwent extensive testing under Motorola’s Accelerated Life Testing (ALT), which stimulates up to 5 years of field use. The XT460 endured blowing rain for 30 minutes, 9 hours of exposure to vibration, 48 hours of exposure to salt fog, 6 hours of blowing dust, 18 shocks, and multiple hours of exposure to severe temperatures as low as -55 degrees and as high as 70 degrees.
